Nothing related to running if they are serious then they will have everything that they need.

Lidl do really good running stuff at a reasonable price. What about a head torch or hat with a light on it, some kind of water bottle etc

You can get medal racks on Etsy for runners. I bought one and it went down very well with the recipient.

I wouldn't get anything technical for a sport as it's personal preference and would have everything, but as an active person I do appreciate token active things like snack boxes/magnets for holding race numbers on etc.

You can never have enough good running socks - can you find out their favourite brand?

Bib clips are good!!
Maybe voucher for sweaty Betty or something similar?

OverByYer · 14/10/2018 14:29

Socks, or gloves.
Bib clips is a great idea. I’d love those but feels extravagant uying for myself.

I’m a teacher who runs. Last year a parent gave me a voucher for the local chain of sports shops. Was really lovely in the January sales.
If you made up a little hamper of running snacks, protein balls, cliff bars etc that would be gorgeous. What about a copy of “ Runner’s World” and a bottle of fizzy stuff to relax with after a race?
Wish your child was in my class!!

Body Shop peppermint foot products - they were created with marathon runners in mind!
The foot spray in particular is nice after a run, and only about £7.

I’m a teacher and a runner. One year a parent bought me a voucher for a virtual race which was really great. I did it in my own time and got a medal which I bought in to show the child.

I can highly recommend Balega running socks.

A 'Wiggle' (running/cycling website) voucher each?
