Feeding my Christmas cake

This is my first year making a Christmas cake and am wondering how often I should be feeding it and how much now that it’s baked.

Initially I thought once a week however I’ve read that some people don’t feed it at all (the horror!!) Any advice please?

I feed mine one tablespoon brandy every 2 weeks until December then once a week until I ice it

I feed mine once a week on a Sunday afternoon x

I do once a week (and flip it over each week so I get a more even spread).
