So after some discussion with my family about Christmas costs getting OTT, we've agreed to only do £10-ish presents for each other this year (excluding the kids). That leaves me with a need to buy a £10 gift each for my Mum, my brother, and my brother's girlfriend. I've already considered the obvious options (a book, CD etc) but wandered what other suggestions you savvy ladies could give me? I'd like to avoid chocolates / toiletries as I think they are a bit impersonal. My brother is particularly difficult as his hobbies mainly include playing expensive video games etc, so hard to think of gifts suitable for him which are around the £10 mark. Thank you!

A book to suit the individual, in a book bag. Or a book plus the film of the book.

T2 does really nice teas in that price bracket.

4 Euromillion tickets.

Why do people do this?

You end up having to buy 3 lots of tat and receive the same in return.

Why not each buy 1 person a £30 gift which is something they'll actually like?

Just slightly over at £12.50 Marks & Spencers have various women’s pyjama sets but you could watch out for any sparks offers to reduce the cost

If your brother plays PlayStation, you can get PS4 top up cards to buy stuff online for games etc

Reusable coffee cups. The Ecoffee ones are really pretty. Nice food gifts that people wouldn't get themselves, a really nice cheese and some crackers? I good book is always appreciated by me. Winter Gloves etc

£10 is kind of Secret Santa realm and I suspect Charity shops might reveal some good gifts. A nice scarf, I bought my self a few recently for £2/3 each, cuff-links or other jewellery.

Some of the magazine companies do three month subscriptions for that price often with a free gift (you have to remember to cancel though)
