A bean bag.....filled with all the soft toys, dress up clothes and other crap things kids hoard! Then, it's all out of sight, but still 'available', and all inside an actually useful thing!

But it would be all lumpy and bumpy and uncomfy to sit on.... Confused

Tragedy · 04/10/2018 16:21

I'm not planning on sitting on it Wink

But what's the point of it then? Why not just put the stuff into a box something?

Hedgyhoggy · 04/10/2018 16:42

Good for teddy’s

Pittcuecothecookbook · 04/10/2018 16:47

I don't get it

Maybe I'm the only one sick of stuffed toy mountains BearGrin.

I think the idea is it's just a normal bean bag, but, instead of getting filling....you use toy-mountain, and it's all tidied away, inside a thing they can also use??

fennella, I meant I myself wouldn't sit in it, but my kids will. So, I wouldn't suffer the lumpiness 😈

We have 2!

One for each kid. Brilliant for tidying away soft toys. Especially useful when they've grown out of wanting all their soft toys out on display (especially when their friends come round), but still don't want to get rid of Mr Cuddlefluff and his massive family of dustcatching furbabies.

To my mind they are lumpy, but my daughter quite happily curls up on hers to read.

If you're looking on Amazon, there are some which are velour - they're softer than the canvas ones.

I tried this but they just pulled everything out and climbed into the beanbag themselves. There were “special” toys that couldn’t go in, which on closer examination turned out to be all our soft toys “because they can’t breathe properly in there and are afraid of the dark”. Occasionally they would tidy everything into the beanbag and then injure themselves diving into sharp book corners and plastic garages Hmm I’m sure it would work with well with dc who are better trained than mine Smile
