My ds and bil have one of those trendy drink cart things in their living room. I need some inspiration for a gift to get them for it. We're being frugal this year so only want to spend around £20 really. Something personalized maybe?

Bottle of their favourite alcohol specific to a year or place ? For example we got MIL bottle of gin from small place in Italy she loves.

Totally make something - sweetie vodka, sloe gin, or Apple schnapps are easy and would be done in time for Christmas (you can buy sloes on eBay if you don't fancy gathering them). Just google the recipes.

I did a selection a few years back for db and put them in mismatched bottles with fake magic potion labels on (db is a geeky role play type, he professed to like them).

A nice bottle of bitters, presented in a small box. Some swizzle sticks, look on not on the high street. Some retro paper umbrellas?

You could make up a small gift set for them.

Or, if you are like me and not good at making things you could get them something from demijohn and they write a nice message on the bottle.

But some vodka, but some skittles. Put the skittles in the vodka. Shake is a bit every few days. Skittles disappear, vodka tastes of skittles. The vodka will be foamy, but it will also be delicious!

You can put only one colour in each bottle of vodka (get half bottles) and make a rainbow of drinks. Can do other things like toffee too.

If you get a really nice bottle of something, you can buy little led lights attached to stoppers which turn your empty bottle into a lamp.
It's not as tacky as it sounds I promise, I think you get them off amazon. They look really effective.
