London Christmas windows and displays

My DDs are very, very keen to go to London to see the Christmas windows/displays in the department stores this year. We are really short on weekends/half term days due to sports (DDs) and work commitments (me). Does anyone know if there are there any windows/displays up already if we go this week or next? Thanks for your help!

Selfridges have their Christmas shop up but I don't think the windows go up until November in any of the shops

It can be a lovely thing to do in those boring days between christmas and new year

Nope no chance sorry! They’re mid to end of october at the v earliest, usually selfridges, and most first-second week of nov.

Liberty always has a special event when they reveal their Xmas windows but not for some time yet. Their Christmas department is open now though

Thank you all - I did think we were a bit optimistic to think there might be any yet.

The street lights are turned on around the 15th of November, I'm guessing the shops are always ready before this date.

@jj21 Liberty of London has a Christmas floor open with all their baubles etc. It looks really pretty. Up on the top floor.
