Games console: Black Friday or after Christmas?

I’m considering endlessly dithering getting a games console for the dc but not necessarily as a Christmas gift. Any thoughts on whether there might be better bargains to be had after Christmas or is Black Friday likely to be as good as it gets?

I’m interested to know this too. No advice sorry.

Offers tend to be based on bundles, which is normally the console plus a a couple of games. The key is getting the appropriate bundle (getting a game which the the person you are buying it for will want to play).

The bundle may consistent of console plus 3 games, but you may not like any of the game, of it could be console plus 1 game that you really like. So the bundle with 1 really good game would be the better deal for you. Prices remain consistent otherwise,

I am not into consoles, but I have bought them for OH and DS, so I have looked into this.

Thanks empress. That’s very clear!

however, if they're newish games that come out with the bundle, you can often trade them in/sell and buy games that you actually want.

We traded in the games that came with DS console, but we didn't get much for them. We literally traded them in at the same time as we bought the console (so the games never even left the store) and despite the store selling the game for say, £40, we got about £8.
