Just that. What do you want Father Christmas to bring you? (Or more realistically what are you going to put on a list for dh/dp/ other family to prevent getting random shit you don't want or need?)

OP posts:
Fevertree · 27/09/2018 19:43

Jasmine and Rose bloom gin
An instant pot (more realistically an electric pressure cooker)

Kittykatmacbill · 27/09/2018 20:45

Hydration backpack for running.
John Lewis voucher
Turkish delight

What ever random gubbins my dds think of.

Stompythedinosaur · 27/09/2018 21:55

I would like a bottle of perfume, a specific bangle from an etsy shop and some posh chocs all for myself.

My mum will get me something out of that, but dp tends to surprise me (he does get nice things).

sirmione16 · 27/09/2018 22:00

I've asked for a nice gold watch. I've never owned a "nice" expensive watch before, only fashion ones and I feel it'll make a simple outfit much more complete Grin apart from that, maybe some vouchers for a hairdressers and I rarely go as it's a cost I'd rather not spend Blush so I let it grow out and manage it, but be nice to treat myself knowing it's paid for :)

Bloodybridget · 27/09/2018 22:17

Gardening gloves, a wine rack, good secateurs, there are a couple of CDs I'd like. Socks.

twobambinos · 27/09/2018 22:21

I would like some knives for the kitchen and a chopping board. Ours we have had since we moved in 10+ years ago and are really at the end of their life.

Spa vouchers. And fancy chocs that I don't have to share. And maybe a nice pair of slippers.

Bumbumtaloo · 27/09/2018 22:28

Boring stuff do some but I love;
New pyjamas (I already bought them and put them up)
Slippers (again I have bought these)
Socks & kickers
Dressing gown
Nice shower gel (just for me)
Vouchers to buy some kindle books

I’m upgrading my phone early (only by two months) and that will be wrapped and go under the tree.

DH and my mum will probably get me some random stuff but tbh I usually love the gifts as it’s stuff I would never have thought of.

  • I bought my pyjamas and slippers as I saw them and they were exactly what I wanted and seeing as the money would come out of our joint account I decided it would just be easier to get them.
Bumbumtaloo · 27/09/2018 22:29

Sorry I don’t know where the random ‘do some’ came from in my previous post.

MumUnderTheMoon · 27/09/2018 23:00

A trip to Disneyland!!!

BillyAndTheSillies · 27/09/2018 23:02

A dyson hairdryer and a new perfume. Still need to decide on the perfume!

sophisticatedsarcasm · 27/09/2018 23:30

A Polaroid 😊

Sillybilly1234 · 28/09/2018 00:07

I would love a bit of peace and quiet. Not too much to ask for surely.

NotTired · 28/09/2018 00:20

I'd like some jeggings that have a button like real jeans so I can tuck my tops into them. And a decent hairdryer.

AnarchyKitty · 28/09/2018 07:22

I'd like a paperwhite kindle and cover and what I'd really like is a pair of black Dubarry Roscommon boots.

Peridot1 · 28/09/2018 07:59

I have spotted some lovely hot pink Birkenstock slippers I really like so will be sending DH a link to them.

I have an Amazon wish list with some books on now too.

And I forgot chocolates. I’m not keen on posh ones but I love Ferrero Rocher.

All to add to my list above.

cheshireagain · 28/09/2018 08:19

Longines gold watch
Philips Lumea
PJs
Charbonnel Champagne Truffles (Pink)
Champagne
Spa Day

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 28/09/2018 10:53

Nail varnish in anything but red (or blue or yellow)
Marie Kondo book
Have recently rediscovered Tobler0ne so..... Grin

purplelass · 28/09/2018 11:15

I don't do lists. Me + DP buy each other a few surprise gifts which we know the other would appreciate / smile at because of a shared joke, etc.

I'd rather have something cheap and personal than something expensive which I'd asked for - the surprise is what makes it feel Christmassy to me.

EmGee · 28/09/2018 14:18

I would like a Dyson. One of the ‘light, hangs on the wall, pick it up and off you go’! Would much rather everyone contributed to that than get me various smellies, edible things I don’t want!

DwayneDibbly · 28/09/2018 15:45

An Instax SQ6 instant camera.

RJnomore1 · 28/09/2018 19:54

I actually have no idea.

I'll need to have a think.

Rarfy · 28/09/2018 20:19

i would love to try the philip kingsley elasticizer so i'm going to put that on.

I would love a cordless hoover though so i don't know whether to just go for that. Budget wise would probs be a vax.

RJnomore1 · 29/09/2018 00:23

That's a household appliance not a Christmas gift!

Rarfy · 29/09/2018 07:27

I agree but we're due our first baby and don't have £100+ spare for a hoover when we already have one that works fine. But it would make life so much easier so i would like one anyway. I'd also like s team mop. Sad i know Grin
