Family Christmas PJs

Does anyone know where to get nice family pyjamas for Christmas Eve? It's just me, DH and DD (her first Christmas so I am a little over-enthusiastic Smile) although if it could include the dogs as well that would be awesome

Thank you x

I’ve ordered some lovely ones from PaperSpaceBoutique on Etsy. They haven’t arrived yet but I thought they were really sweet...

We got ours from eBay last year. The whole of our family got then, my Sister's families & my parents. Not the best quality but still comfy enough

Emiliamoo · 24/09/2018 10:31

They look fab @lumpybumpylooloo Exactly what I imagined

Primark does PJs in the same material for different ages. We bought some a couple of years back and just buy new ones for the kids each year. Cheaper than some of the other options. Hayley do really nice ones but they do cost a lot when your buying a few sets.

ThatsWotSheSaid · 24/09/2018 10:35

Hatley not Hayley

fairiedemon · 24/09/2018 10:39

Have you got a sewing machine! Pjs are the easier clothes to run up and you will have something unique!

fairiedemon · 24/09/2018 10:39

*?

Elementtree · 24/09/2018 10:41

I'd have to chloroform my dh to get him into an elf outfit. Do you think the drugging would show on the photos?

dinosaurkisses · 24/09/2018 10:44

Matalan are releasing a set for the whole family (including baby grows and a onesie for the dog) in aid of Alder Hey this year- I saw them advertised on Facebook.

clumsyduck · 24/09/2018 10:46

I got some last year from eBay (from China ) that came up with lots of hits on eBay I'd advise against them deposited being a cheaper option as the bottoms were made of Lycra despite not looking that way in the photos and the print on the top was coming away after 2 washes Angry

clumsyduck · 24/09/2018 10:47

Despite not deposited

Emiliamoo · 24/09/2018 11:51

@Elementtree my DH doesn't know yet! It will be a lovely surprise for him 😂

@fairiedemon No sewing machine and wouldn't even know how to start!

Mat Alan and Primark sound promising though x

The elder hey ones from matalan look quite good this year. Last year they just weren't christmassy enough I thought.

ItchySeveredFoot · 25/09/2018 19:24

Alder*

Beagadorsrock · 25/09/2018 19:43

I got mine from PatPat - I think it's an American website but they came from China. Lots of choice

LokiBear · 25/09/2018 20:26

Are the matalan ones the stars ones? Not very christmassy....
I threaten matching pjs every year but im yet to carry it out.

cravingcake · 27/09/2018 04:44

I ordered the matalan ones for my 2 DC, quality is not great, really thin so i’m Going to return.

I’ve seen in the latest Next catalogue that they have 2 family Christmas sets - one is Brussel sprouts and another is penguins. Asda did family sets last year but were quite late at getting into the shops.

AhoyDelBoy · 29/09/2018 02:01

Happy Hannas! @Emiliamoo

Yes me too, I’m never doing that again.

Was just looking at them and want some so bad. It’s the middle of summer here though at Christmas so not very practical unfortunately.

ChristmasSeacow · 29/09/2018 09:34

@Beagadorsrock How is the PatPat quality and sizing? They often come up on my fb feed and Ive wondered...

whatnametouse · 29/09/2018 09:55

Next have some too

Planning on getting some for us and our guests this year 🎄🎅🏼🤶🏻

Beagadorsrock · 29/09/2018 10:24

@ChristmasSeacow We (me, DH, DS4 and DS2) got some PatPat ones last year - I made sure they were 100% cotton, first of all as we all get overheated with any polyester - the sizes came up fine (ie they were true to the sizes I had ordered) and we are still wearing them this year. They seem to be holding up to repeated washes etc. They were red top and striped candy cane bottoms, and they haven't run (I wash everything together at 40 with a colour catcher thingy).
I haven't opened the parcel with this year's ones, to avoid prying eyes...
