What to buy DS almost 5?

I have two boys eldest is 6 and youngest is 5 just before Christmas.

I have a huge list of things the 6yo wants but my youngest doesn’t have a clue other than a pj mask HQ and glow tracks. I’ve already got the HQ second off ebay.

It’s his bday 21st Dec so I need to think of things for that as well.

Think I struggle because they are so close in age so he usually ends up with hand me downs from my older son.

What are you getting your 5yo boys for Christmas?

My son will turn six at Christmas, but he will be having Hexbugs robot wars toys, Lego, K’nex, Snap Circuits, domino rally, and possibly some Kapla Blocks (not all from us). We may also buy a small football goal between him and his younger brother.

Those are the main things, and I have some smaller things for his stocking, thought I was pretty much finished...but then I saw an amazing deal on this Star Wars X-wing today. Argh...this is what happens when I start shopping too early! If I end up with too much I'll store some away for his 6th birthday. Curious what you might get your 6yo??

A Lego Porsche set, Hotwheels track or magic tracks, Transformers, the Playmobil school bus and Junior Monopoly are on my ideas list for DS, who’ll be a month away from turning 6.

My 6 year old DS wants a chocolate coin maker, a magic set, a "giant" Lego set, dvds, a lamp for his bedroom (!)

He has mentioned Wally the washer game so will probably end up with that. We do already have Playmobil pirate ship, he doesn’t really play with Lego and we have quite a few sets already.
My 6 yo is having Nintendo DS so that’s an easy one then he just needs stocking fillers.
It’s the smaller things I’m struggling with for 5yo, the PJ mask HQ will be his main present for Xmas and the magic tracks for his bday, it’s thinking of other smaller things for family to get him that we are struggling with.

Some ideas, maybe Playmobil figures, activity books, puzzles, books, art bits, something connected to a hobby, board games.

What about other PJ masks toys to go with the hq? DS2 (also 5 just before Christmas) has the vehicles and night ninjas bus.

He’s getting playmobil, treasure x, a scooter, magnatiles, Lego Ninjago (he loved the film) and a t-Rex fingerling

Oh and some hot wheels

He already has almost all of the figures except for the owl glider which we have bought with the HQ from eBay.
I think he would like the T-Rex fingerling so will be adding that to the list. He loves ninjago but doesn’t really play with Lego. I am getting treasure x for my older son, not sure my younger son would have the patience to sit and dig it out.

It's paw patrol, PJ masks and Lego all the way in this house... For Christmas the new large paw patrol fire engine, a couple of PJ masks small sets from GPs and some Lego.... Struggling for stocking fillers here!

Bigheadache I looked through the Argos before with youngest son and he literally just reeled off all of the paw patrol stuff he doesn’t have even though we have a mountain of it already

Cyclingwidow15 yep mine did that too! They make it worse by releasing different versions of the same vehicles

So far we have temporary tattoos, slime, blind bags, binoculars and boon bath pipes or bath cogs.

Bigheadache exactly that! He really needs the Skye vehicle because we don’t have ‘that’ one. Basically we have the same thing but with a slightly new modification on it
