Let me know what unusual crafts you're planning this year, so we can pinch ideas! Last year I covered notebooks with fabric relevant to the person. This year I'm going to have a go at marble ring dishes. I've tried to post link, hope it works.

That looks very pretty. I only have thought about salt dough ornaments from the boys and using their footprints for gift tags.

Love the lanterns idea. DS10 took over my dishes, so not bad for 10 year old (won't say which ones mine were, nothing like my above link that's for sure!)

I'm making bean can Christmas cakes, Christmas granola, chutney and crochet robins this year!

They look very nice, it's made me want to have a go! Might take a while with two little horrors to look after though.

Previously we've done sharpie-decorated fabric shopping bags, xmas tree decorations with lolly sticks, and ceramic-pen-decorated pots planted with bulbs (pots from baker Ross). Oh, and a photo calendar (so a january photo in January etc - bit late if you don't have the photos though!)

We’ve done fudge, fruit vodka and gin and shortbread which have all been successful and an attempt at limoncello, which wasn’t!
