Can anyone recommend a free app to store Christmas shopping lists on? Preferably one that maybe has a password to prevent cheeky peekers!

I use the No More Socks free app. You need a passcode to enter it.

Ooh. Good thinking! Just looked for the no more socks app and it’s now £1.99. Following to see about finding a free app. Always worried the kids will look at my phone and see what I’ve written in the notes section 😂

OnMyWhistle · 08/09/2018 21:56

Oh sorry didn’t realise it wasn’t free anymore! I’ve used it for a number of years

I use “better Christmas” I have used it for about 5 years so can’t remember if free or if I paid a small amount.

I use an app called notebook. It’s pretty basic but I create separate lists for each person/family and give each list a different colour so they’re easy to see. It was free and can be locked with a password - I use Touch ID so prying eyes can’t get to it

Wunderlist isn't a specific Christmas one but I use it all year for my to do lists.

Only issue I have is that DH has the same app on his phone, synced in the vain hope that he'll do some of the things on the list, so can't put his xmas present ideas on there!

I use wish list.
You can have lists for everyone, set budgets upload pics and links.
I love it

Santas Bag - best Christmas app ever!

Reaa · 09/09/2018 10:39

I'm using Manage Christmas

I have set my total budget and budget per person and have added what I have already bought and can see how much left of budget for each person and overall.

snozzlemaid · 09/09/2018 10:40

I use Santa's bag.
It's great for keeping an eye on budgets and ideas.

Reaa · 09/09/2018 10:59

Forgot to add Manage Christmas is also password protected.

ifiwasabutterfly · 09/09/2018 12:59

Thanks everyone I'll take a look!

How does the manage Christmas app work as password protected? I’ve put the password in when it asks me to set up each person but when I click on the app it says everything I’ve bought. Not good for nosy kids.

Pibplob · 09/09/2018 20:23

It works now. Have to enter password when click on app. Just a shame it says I’m entering the wrong password. Hmm
