Any ideas please? Would like to get a nice wicker hamper delivered. They’re not too fussed by sweet stuff but would like red wine, savouries, teas, preserves. Want to get one that looks classy but equally has a decent amount of stuff in it. Any suggestions of successful ones you have bought? Thanks

Do they like cheese? This looks nice - www.hampers.co.uk/type/savoury/cheese-wine-party-in-wicker-basket.html

Fortnum and Mason. Got to be.

Agree with poster above...
It has to be Fortnum and Mason

Thank you for all the suggestions! I’ve already looked at Fortnums but they seem a bit too luxurious, ie they don’t have many items in them for the money! I’d love a Fortnums hamper myself but I don’t think it would impress my pils. The Booths hamper looks like it has a lovely range of stuff in it so that’s definitely a contender! I’ve not heard of Booths so great suggestion!

F&M hampers are lovely. Personally though I prefer Harvey Nichols with the black wicker hampers. They're a little more contemporary, not quite as old fashioned.

Booths hampers are great value for money though. People call them the Waitrose of the North, their food is amazing! They’ve also just launched their new Christmas book www.thegrocer.co.uk/stores/ranging-and-merchandising/range-preview-booths-christmas-2018/569482.article

Anyway, Booths have a £5 off code at the minute on their hampers: EHBOOTH5 Smile

F&M can be a bit of a con (as I supposed can all hampers!)...lots and lots of packaging so a decent size box with 5 small biscuits, a bag of nuts with a tiny portion inside, small jars. Probably perfect size for some but not exactly what you think you're paying for.

Would love a Booths hamper though

Have a look at devonhampers.com

My bil has bought them for my pil and they seemed quite happy

Can you make your own? I always find it works out better value and me and you can by stuff you know they will like
