When do you put up your tree?

I'm just wondering when everyone puts up their trees.

My DP likes to put ours up on his birthday on the 12th Dec , however I get to excited and he caves in and we normally put ours up the weekend before the 12th.

We always do tree and house at same time.

What a genius idea to do house first and then tree 🎄. Can't believe it 🤔.

Also less work on one day!! My dc always start yanking at Dec's chain 1st December so maybe could do this..

I have been known to keep tree up till valentines. I very much like miss havisham effect sometimes. Sometimes it's down very soon in January

Biddy you really are amazing at Xmas, the bag kept back for strays. You should start u tubing your guide to Xmas.. I cannot are you ending up on this morning

Around 15th December and usually down by about the 3rd Jan

We always have a real tree and it goes up a few days before Christmas & comes down on 5th or 6th January.

First weekend of December which is the 1st December this year so brilliant!

I made the mistake of putting it up slightly too early last year and it was bare by Christmas Day.

We used to put it up on the night of the 30th November so that it was up for the morning of the 1st, but last year we waited until the 15th and it was so much better. We found the DC were much less permanently hyper when they could get a break from the relentless CHRISTMAS!!!! that was going on everywhere they went, and it meant that we weren't "Christmas-ed out" by the 28th.
