WiFi headphones anyone?

I am thinking about getting DH some WiFi wireless headphones for Christmas. He watches you tube sailing blogs (yes, I know but we have to work with what we've got or married) on his kindle in bed but I have no idea where to start.

Any suggestions? I don't have a massive budget, I am looking up to and round 50 pounds. I'm not sure if that is even doable?

Thanks

Do you mean Bluetooth ones? Dd and ds both have them. Think we got them in Tesco

When you say wifi, do you mean bluetooth? First make sure the Kindle has bluetooth, not all of them do.

If so, I've got a pair of these - amazon.co.uk/dp/B00F54Y6GU]] - which sound decent, nice and light, not sweaty, battery lasts for ages (and is micro-USB to recharge) and if you run out entirely you can wire them to carry on. £23 just now, I think they were £35 when I bought them a couple of years ago.

FFS. The automatic linkmaker thing is really hit and miss.

I've had these for years, Dh has a pair too

They are fab, battery last for ages and DH even runs in his and he finds them very comfotable.

If you want to go a bit more upmarket I can recommend the Beats headphones, got them for my daughter last Xmas

combatbarbie · 31/08/2018 16:24

Seen the budget...cancel my suggestion but yes very doable just Google wireless headphones

Have a look on Amazon - loads to choose from in your price range and the user reviews can be useful.

In my former life I was Luddite. I am so embarassing. Bluetooth? Is that wireless? Cordless? I wasn't sure if they were all the same, would they for the kindle.

Thanks for the suggestions, though. Those links look great. Bargains.

Bluetooth headphones will be wireless and you need to charge them. They normally come with a wire too so if they run out of charge you can still use them via the wire

dementedpixie · 31/08/2018 17:37

Do you mean kindle fire? It should have Bluetooth functionality

dementedpixie · 31/08/2018 17:41

I have circled the Bluetooth icon on my phone so you know what it looks like

WiFi headphones anyone?

Dementedpixie Thanks, I always wonders what that was. I'm not even joking. I think Bluetooth is what I am looking for - thank you again.

Love the Christmas board

My teen dd has Phillips Bluetooth headphones from Argos. She listens to a lot of music and says that they are comfy.

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 31/08/2018 18:05

These aren't wireless, but they're very good noise cancelling headphones at a budget price.

I have these Sony ones in grey and they're my favourites particularly as they last 20hrs between charges. I also bought some cheaper (£20) in ear bud type headphones but they're not as good and they don't last long between charges which is quite frustrating so I gave them to my DS for playing on his laptop.

Best site for headphone reviews.

If he's listening in bed he wants closed-back headphones so that you're not disturbed, but noise-cancelling is unnecessary and will reduce what you can get for your fifty quid.

Following for suggestions as on my list to get. Amazon seems to be best bet for this ( and everything else)
