Asda wooden train track.

I saw a brilliant dinosaur track in Asda the other day but my DS has big jigs track and I know it's compatible with a lot of other wooden tracks but my Google search for whether it is compatible with the asda track has been fruitless!

I am itching to get shopping started for Christmas so could anyone possibly tell me what tracks the asda one is compatible with?

Can you take a piece of your track to Asda and see if it fixes to a track from their set?

The set is boxed I don't think I can. I have just seen a review on there website saying it is compatible with most other big brand tracks so I might just risk it.

I asked this a few years ago, and it turns out that there's a standard gauge for wooden train tracks, just as there is for normal trains! They should all fit together, apart from maybe a few very specialist brands - ASDA should be fine.

We have BigJigs pieces and they fit with Ikea, Tesco and Tidlo tracks, so if you can establish that Asda fit with any of those, then they'll fit ok.

Asda will fit with all the other wooden tracks - the wooden trains all have the same Guate whether they’re Thomas the Tank, Brio or supermarket.
