Smyth's 20% off weekend

Does anyone know when Smyth's roughly will be doing there 20%off with the catalogue coming out.

I don’t think they did this last year. The sale they had wasn’t very impressive. I hope they go back to the old 20% off weekend.

Sainsbury’s toy sales are normally good but I wonder how this year’s will be now that Sainsbury’s has taken over Argos.

No they didnt do it last year...I hope it was a one off....I think it used to be the end of November.

They’ve stopped it I think. I am sad about it but I don’t think it’s happening again 🙁

I think it was mid Sept but iirc there were physical fights in some stores in 2016 so it didn’t go ahead last year.
They did have vouchers around that time for £10 off £50, £20 off £100, which isn’t quite as good as a flat 20% off. They used to release those later in the year but they didn’t last year. There were other deals on consoles at some stage too.

They didn't do the 20% off last year but they did have a €10 off every €50 spend at the end of September. It was the same week the catalogue came out if I remember correctly. I usually find that Smyths works out cheaper than the Argos 3 for 2.

It's mid-late sept. They don't do the 20% off anymore but it will probably by the voucher again this year.

20% didn’t happen last year, but year before it was late September/early October iirc.

At least Smyths don’t inflate their prices for the sale. I find the Argos 3-4-2 terrible for that

I think sainsburys took over argos a couple of years ago now, I definitely remember they had the argos 'Chad valley' range in the toy sale last time.
