Hello!!

I am 27 in a rather badly paid NHS job (think £8 ph) and I'm going part time to go back to college.

I'm already thinking about Christmas and what I can do.

I buy for both parents and their partners. Both grandmothers. My boyfriend (also 27) and my two nephews who are 3 and 6. I don't buy for my brother or his partner pre arranged to save money and just buy for the kids.

Any good sales atm? Good ideas for generic gifts? Good ideas for boys that age when they have so many toys!

Thank you 😁

Do you have to buy presents for all the adults?

What about homemade gifts, if you gave time. Like fancy, but easy, biscuits/fudge etc?

Parmaviolets13 · 26/08/2018 14:33

I guess no I don't have to. I'd like to buy presents for parents - in all honesty I could just get flowers for the grandmothers.

Homemade fudge etc is good, I've made that before. (And ate it all myself!)

Thanks Alana I shall check it out

homemade chutney is always a hit. or homemade gingerbread. just wrap it in a nice bag, add a ribbon and you basically have your gift sorted :)

A lovely and inexpensive gift at Christmas is a poinsettia. They cost less than £5 and are so bright and cheerful anyone would love to get one
