Wonderful use of a Christmas Villiage

I just saw this on Facebook today, am seriously considering trying to find someone to make the frame. Surely can't be that hard. I've always loved a Christmas village but never had any room for one.

I love it. My dd has a Christmas village, we add a new ornament every year. I might see if I can find someone to make it.

Could you ask the poster where they got the frame from? They may have bought it, or be willing to make you one if they made it themselves (for payment of course!).

That's really pretty, wouldn't it be tricky to store though? Or would you use it as regular shelving for the rest of the year and just store the village?

The details say that it was 8 ft by 3ft!! American house with 10 ft ceilings. I guess it could be any size though. It looks like it has hinges so I'm guessing the shelves come off and the two side panels can come off.

I think I'm going to get my husband's friend to make one. Maybe 5 ft. Could even stain it green. What a fun project!

I saw that too. They made it themselves and used it as a normal shelving unit the rest of the year.
