Where can I get high quality external Christmas lights?

Every year we put lights along our roofline, but the ones we find in garden centres etc don't seem very bright and after a couple of years seem to get dimmer. Can anyone recommend somewhere that does more of the American-style outside lights, that have a bit more impact? We don't want Blackpool illuminations, but just a bigger bulb and brighter, longer-lasting light.

Just to say after a bit of searching online, we've gone with www.festive-lights.com/ Festive Lights.

They have an excellent trust pilot rating, two year guarantee and larger bulbs which is what I was looking for. Fingers crossed we'll love them!

I've found the quality of products from Festive Lights to be a bit hit and miss, but the products are cheap so you can afford to replace them frequently. You could try a professional decorator if they don't meet your expectations. We've found they tend to do the best external festive lights for the house and outbuildings.

Lights 4 fun are great quality, we've got their festoon lights up all year round in the back and their fairy lights. We opted for the commercial ones as we wanted them up year round but they've got some fab looking coloured bulbs, I also find them useful with the online chat regarding what to put together as many are connectable
