Best age for Lapland

Has anyone been to the real Lapland who can recommend he best age for kids? It's something I'd love to do with my two and they're too young at the moment (4 and 2) but what would you say the optimum age is for them to really enjoy it but not risk them no longer believing in the big man?

Haven't been but I'd say 7. Old enough to remember it, but young enough to still believe.

5-8. Last year my nine yr old loved it but didn’t believe in Father Christmas. 5 year old still had the magic! 3 definitely too young, 4 a little young.

We took ours at 7 & 9 for DH's 40th and it was fab!

We took ours when they were 4 and 6. It was fab, but with hindsight I'd have left it until they were a year or two older.

We did a day trip last year when ours were 4.5 and just 6. They both loved it - long day but amazing! I didn’t know if they would still believe at 7. Having said that, Santa wasn’t the bit they remember - they are all about the husky and reindeer sleds :-)

We took a group of children aged 13, 12, 9, 7, 6 and 5 last year and they all really enjoyed it. Older two do not believe in Father Christmas anymore but loved it anyway and 9 year old is pretty sure he's not real but nearly believed in the one we saw. Younger three all believe. I'd love to go back was honestly the best holiday ever (and was only 4 days) but it was way out of my budget in the first place so was a one of. Have an amazing time if you do go.

We took our DC when aged almost 6. Absolutely loved it, but like a PP said the real highlight of the trip was the husky sleigh ride. From what we read before going, if your DC are under 5 years they can find the cold really difficult to deal with, but if they're over 8, they may not still believe in Santa.

I'd say 6-8 myself, but then adults can enjoy it as much as kids so 5-99?
