Ahh thank you Fluffy , l am sorry you have to endure the cave but at least you are doing a great worthwhile job helping ppl in great need, l imagine. l have 40 yrs of working under my belt and l am so happy to have finished , it was definitely time to go . Never mind , your day in the sun will come Fluffy . In the meantime make the most of the Fridays off YAY!

Picked the DC up, they had chicken, bacon and stuffing baguettes for supper, I'm not hungry yet, DS2 will go to bed at 7.30. 😋🍗

We had burgers in posh brioche buns and salad and it was scrummy !

Are you watching the Chelsea flower show Fluffy ? l am so happy the Yorkshire garden won a gold,it was just beautiful , had little gems in it like a birds nest in the eaves and smoking their own cheese, at least l think it was cheese , it was just so so pretty. Mind they were all beautiful tbf.

Ds is crying in his sleep. He's very sweaty and has an awful hayfever cough. Poor monkey.

No. We are watching Kate Humble on iPlayer as we missed it earlier. I'm not much into stuff like Chelsea, particularly. Probably because I don't have room for flowers etc, so just get annoyed that I can't do something similar to the gardens they've created!

They have their winding down time Mrs, then off they go! DD will go at 9.20. 😴

DS2 and I get hayfever coughs too Wreck. Is there anything you can give him?

He has antihistamine but it doesn't help with this really. I think he needs a decongestant to dry his nose but in this country they won't prescribe under six (can buy otc in America!).

Ahh Fluffy l am sure you would have loved the Yorkshire garden, it was all wild flowers, veg growing in the garden and a stream and a rickety gate and a stone hut it was the epitome of Last of the Summer wine country just adorable!

Wreck your poor Darling boy , this hayfever is awful honestly it makes you feel really poorly sometimes . I have been putting Vaseline around my nose and it does seem to have helped. I don't know if you do this already? Hope he is better very soon my dear

Morning!

We are lucky in that - in the main - ours go to bed well too. Hotels / holidays can be tricky because of excitement etc, but at home they do alright! DS and I snuggle in his bed to read, then he goes sleep almost instantly most nights. He's very cute!

DH takes DD and they read on a sofa before she gets into bed, where they talk for a bit before she's left to go to sleep. She's the better sleeper of the two. DS came into us overnight last night, bless him. He gets lonely!

It's yet another glorious day today. It looks like we may be getting a more reliable summer this year, fingers crossed! ☀️☀️☀️

Not long until Friday now...I'm on my shorter days from today where I finish at 5, so that's good. 5.30 does get me home a little late, but it's worth it for Friday off. 😁

Good morning.. dull and misty start to the day again but if it’s as yesterday it will be glorious by lunchtime.
Well yesterday proved productive..both sheds are now beautifully organised, rubbish has gone and car booty is cleaned and packed for tomorrow.
Most excitingly I got my new sofa home 🙂.. spent ages trying to get a van man but my df was determined to get it in her people carrier and she bloody did! I think DH approved as when I came down from my bath last night he was snoring away on it 😂
Today’s jobs are rearrange living room and conservatory, walk dogs, get carboot stuff out for tomo, do any laundry and pack bedding etc for weekend away. Check in later .good day all x

Internal am so pleased you got your sofa installed well done to DF ! You did loads yesterday, it is brilliant when you manage to do a great clear out .
We are off to Goldcliff for a walk then to Cwmbran. DF seems slightly better , Dsis is doing the parents today and tomoz and we will be doing them for the following 5 days bc they are going away , so it is all good.

I'm busy preparing for three trials which is fun. Not! We rarely have trials, but these are like buses it seems! 😂
