Anyone get tickets for the Polar Express?

I wanted to go to the Telford Steam Railways Polar Express last year but only found out about it too late so was determined to book this year.

Tickets went on sale last night, stayed up till 1am in an online queue but I got some, midweek as weekends all gone but DD will only be in reception so don't mind taking her out one day.

Now looking at Christmas pj's. Mind you, still feels like winter here!

Anyone else?

I'm glad you got some! The things we do for our children, eh?!

We go on a different Santa train, in the Lakes, but always buy bloody early (January this year!).

Where are you looking at PJs? Are they a decent price? I missed out in the post-Christmas sales!

@NoWordForFluffy I saw some really cute pj's (snoopy and Charlie Brown) on Facebook last year and tracked them down to pyjamagram, they do whole matching family ones but they work out to be about £200 for 4 of us! Have quite a while to consider how crazy or desperate I am for them!

Look at Patpat for matching Christmas PJ's

www.patpat.com/category/Matching-Outfits/Family-Look.html I got some from here last Christmas and they were pretty good - plus they're on sale at the moment.

NoWordForFluffy · 13/04/2018 16:12

Whoa! I'm not £200 desperate! Xmas Shock

I think I'll try Patpat! 😂

NoWordForFluffy · 13/04/2018 17:43

I got Patpat ones! So much choice though; took me ages to choose.

ILoveMyMonkey · 13/04/2018 20:13

Ha ha I had the same problem @NoWordForFluffy, roll on Christmas eh.

NoWordForFluffy · 13/04/2018 20:18

Hell, yes!

DH thinks there’ll be duty to pay on the pyjamas. I hope there’s not!

overitalready · 13/04/2018 20:30

Oh i just brought some from PatPat..love them! £53.00 including shipping for four pairs 👍🏻

overitalready · 13/04/2018 20:33

Lets hope the invoice describes them as "personel belongings" to avoid the duty

ILoveMyMonkey · 13/04/2018 20:35

@NoWordForFluffy I didn't have to pay any duty on mine.

ILoveMyMonkey · 13/04/2018 20:36

@overitalready great aren't they.

NoWordForFluffy · 13/04/2018 20:38

That’s good to know, @ILoveMyMonkey! How much were yours?

ILoveMyMonkey · 14/04/2018 09:08

@NoWordForFluffy my email invoice was in dollars $52 but I paid on credit card and that was something like £41 which added up to exactly what the amount was for the PJ's on the website where they are all listed in sterling. It was a bit confusing.

NoWordForFluffy · 14/04/2018 09:10

Yeah. I paid by PayPal and it started in pounds, then dollars, then went back to pounds! Xmas Confused

Mine was less than yours, so I'm optimistic there won't be duty to pay.
