Morning all!

Well-done 70 I absolutely hate the motor way. I was thinking of taking the DC on holiday on my own this year but cant face motorway + 3 DC .

I have only just finished putting the DC to bed....I started at 6.30 . I will now have a hot chocolate and hopefully do another square for woolly hugs. Attached a photo of my first square which lovely Woolly helped a lot with!

I think we're actually going to get snow!! So exciting.

I don't mind motorway driving, quite like it compared to the narrow country lanes I drive every day.

I didn't used to mind motorways at all. Until DD was a tiny baby and we were driving home from seeing my parents on the M6. Traffic was busy in all lanes and we were in the middle lane with traffic either side and ahead of us. A van decided that our lane was moving faster so just pulled from the right into the middle without seeing us. If it wasn't for DH's quick reaction we'd have been wiped out by the twat. I now hate motorways, though wouldn't stop driving on them, I'm just more vigilant than before (and I've always been vigilant!) and wary of anyone who looks like a wanker (90% of vehicles on the M6; it's a godawful road!).

I had to cut and run after posting the countdown ......cat alert!!! Stray number 2 came up the stairs into the bedroom and started to have a go at stray number 1 lol!
Looking lovely out , unfortunately it's another rugby weekend in our household . Not looking forward to it at all .
DD1 is back in Uni tomorrow so l am getting her stuff ready to go , very upsetting but she is coming home for her birthday in 2 weeks , she will be home for Easter for a week as well so not too bad.
Sally you are doing great honestly. l have great trouble even holding the crochet hook because of my arthritic fingers that's my excuse and l am sticking to it

My eyebrows are a slight problem. l find they are either non existant from over plucking or like Dennis Healeys !
Wreck the meal looked delicious , l like using the enamel dishes and scraping the burnt bits off the dishes after ....best bit!

Morning all! I am hoping for a nice quiet weekend with no hospital visits. Yesterday Dh was in a&e in the morning and Gabriel in the evening! Ridiculous.

Dh has badly scratched his eye, he is ok but sore. Gabriel gashed his head on my headboard. The bed is being replaced a week today. Last opportunity he could have had to do it! Glued and steri stripped. He was so good.

Absolutely freezing here but thankfully sunny. Our boiler is playing up, but only intermittently. Still taking ages to heat the house though. Brrrrr.

Oh yum wreck! I am making DH an apple, carrot and ginger juice and the DC are hoping I will make bread rolls.

We haven't seen Ferdinand yet, I'm hoping to see Coco next week but DH has just had a massive project dumped in him so he will be too busy 🙁

Sally how is the crochet going? I'm trying to find a pattern written as a chart - I think you might like following the symbols now you have got the hang of the basics. If I find a good one I'll pop it on your Arts and Crafts thread.

Oh thanks Woolly! It is going well, I feel like I can see the stitches now and I can do the granny sq. without looking at the instructions - although I still mess up and have to go back and check!

Mine are 5&7 and often entertain themselves in the morning ds(5) is more likely to make us get up because he's hungry but not always.

Cold here. Hoping for no snow till Thursday. I have to get to an orthopaedic hospital in another city on Wednesday for pre-op. They’ve cancelled it once and I really need to get there.

Gabriel is still in a cot and I’m hoping we will keep him in till he is 3 in September. He is an earlier riser than wilf!
