I watched Jeremy Kyle on YouTube (put me right off brunch )

Evening all.
Looks like everyone is having a great Easter , weather has been dire here today cold and rainy so we went to Cwmbran instead of walking and I made a right fool of myself falling arse over tit in the town square in front of hundreds of people. I was wearing the Dd2 purple Uggs and they are lethal ! Teach me to think at nearly 57 I can get away with them lol! I hurt my pride more than myself . l honestly wished the floor could have swallowed me.
Anyway have been watching Roseanne on the Putlocker site and am very happy to report it was fab.

The DC woke up at 2.28, I dragged DD out of bed to hide DS2's Easter egg at 6, then hid hers once she'd gone back to bed, they had Easter eggs for breakfast, I had a banana, they're playing Geometry Dash on their tablets, I'm drinking coffee. 😋🍫🍌☕

I had a bagel and a creme egg!

I need cooking advice. My roast potatoes always come out of the oven really crispy and delicious but by the time they're eaten they've gone soggy! Why??

I par boil, rough in a colander, season (sometimes with flour too) and then put into hot oil in an oven dish. They look so good when I get them out but it never lasts! Have tried leaving in the dish on the table to serve (my ideal really) and have also tried putting straight into warm plates.

70 I now have to do that! 😂

Wreck DH, the roast potato expert, says use olive oil, and don't use too much. HTH.

Have just scoffed half a WR fudge Easter egg , twas a broken one from WR that DD2 bought cheap because she works for them and they had them in partnership shopping ..... I love my DD2 lol

Hmm I did use olive oil and then I started using rape seed oil as it's apparently healthier maybe I'll use olive oil today and see if it makes a difference

Ours stay crispy. We agitate them in polenta or semolina. They're bloody lovely!

I've just had a nap and cba to do a roast now, plus nth dc seem to be under the weather; dd has taken herself to bed. I'm currently still in bed, I have the best bed it's soooo cosy

Ohhh Wreck what a perfect Sunday minus the ill dc . I would love to have a duvet day. I don't think l have ever had one......well perhaps a half duvet day when l was very young .......
Welsh cakes x 2 and a very strong cuppa in order because we have just seen off the Ma & Pa and poisonous DS and Dbil after 3 hours of torture and lock the front door to the family and relax at last ......ahhhhhhh
