And more your end Mrs, I used to go to Folly Farm on my childhood annual holiday. I'm trying to persuade DH to go to Wales for our next holiday. I have so many lovely memories from north & south Wales.

I took my DC to a Farm Parks years ago (in Dorset) they went to Farmer Parmers and another one with horses and small pets.

They had a huge indoor stable of female guinea-pigs , parents had to catch them . The fat lazy ones were easy to catch but I was determined to catch a skittery baby one (I kept guinea-pigs as a child and have some now)
I put it on DD lap , she wasn't keen , so I had to cuddle a nervous guinea-pig and a shaking daughter. It didn't put her off , we've kept guineas for the last 6 years now.

I scoffed the Christmas Pudding , it was perfectly rounded rather than basin shaped , but a bit meh . I think they need a good dousing of brandy flames and steamed rather than microwaved.

We're almost 100 days' away from last Christmas. Where did that time go?!

We have Farmer Ted's and Windmill Farm round this way. Both are expensive and both are a bit 'meh' to an extent! We've only ever been for birthday parties, it has to be said.

The one down Woolly's way does sound good, however, so we will consider that one.

I'm on the train to work...3 working days until I finish. Woooo and argghhhh in equal measure! My task list still looked a touch on Friday, but hopefully by the end of today it'll look more healthy. I have a plan, anyway. But best laid plans and all that.

70, what a shame your pudding didn't live up to expectations. We had some of the banana cake and custard last night. That was really nice! 😊

Easter plans in progress , flowers for the graves for Easter done, just off for a walk to the Goldcliff and to Tredegar House to see the gardens before the crowds descend , children not broken up yet so we should be ok. Going to a Medieval pagent Friday and a visit to see the weeping poppies and the Mappa Mundi in Hereford Cathedral planned with DD1 for her break so all good.

When I got up this morning, DH said, "Hello! I didn't expect to see you up this early!" I pointed out that the DC break up on Thursday, they haven't had their Easter bonnet parade yet! 😂

Morning all! Doesn't it feel like spring has sprung! Children are off for Easter, they are playing in the garden. I really should hang some washing out.

We break up for Easter on Thursday. I have a quiet week at work this week which means I will spend most of my office time eating lovely sunny day. What's the betting it rains for the whole of the Easter holidays?!

I'm trying to plan what we're doing, so far have got a few good things in;

Cinema
Eater trail at local gardens
Trip to see my sister in Kent (overnight)
Trip to London
Local farm park probably twice at least
Haircut and measure of feet
Hospital for me
Meet other sister and bil for lunch as they're down
Go see my grandparents/mum/step mum and dad
Easter egg hunt with friends

That's it so far I think!

We're doing an Easter trail at Morden Hall Park, a NT/Cadbury one, the DC are going to my aunt's from the 11 - 14th, the intervening time will be mostly chilling out I think.

Our two went to the dentist with DH today, so that was a good start to the holiday! 😂

We're actually away for most of the holidays really, so hopefully they won't get too bored.

I'm feeling ok about my workload for now. See if that changes when my post arrives!

Holiday - 2 days and counting! I'm currently harbouring germs of some description; I had raging ear ache, headache and sore throat last night. It's 'just' a sore throat for now though, but I didn't bother with the cross trainer this morning! So, I'm on the train on the way to work. See how I get on with my task list today; it didn't look too bad when I left it yesterday, and I have a plan for today! 😁😂

The DC seemed to like going to the dentist as there's a massive set of teeth with a toothbrush they can play with in the waiting room! Small things!

Can't wait until the Easter holidays. Got some really boring work to do before then though which basically involves driving miles and collecting things. Have about thirty different places to go. Blah.

Afternoon all , didn't get wet Fluffy thank you ,glad you are ok and not feeling too bad .
Am home now with a naice cuppa and a Welsh cakey or two or three , hubbs has put Last of the Summer wine on and we are chilling to it .
DD2 wants Cadburys fruit and nut egg for Easter . I am going to get her one but the cheapest is 10 quid in Mr T's!!! Wowser that is a lot for 1 flipping egg. Hubbs has got pick n mix from Wilkos and DD1 has a vegan egg ....yuk! l will not have any lol.
Been wondering about Hairspray too ......l am hoping she is having the best time ever and is being whisked off to a luxury hotel for Easter by a very rich handsome young man on his white charger yes l used to read Mills & Boon ......such are dreams made of

Wreck I am very jealous of Lapland! Maybe next year. We have panto and santa booker already. I have a few more things to schedule.
