Mrsmadevans · 19/03/2018 20:32

I think they are little models, she makes sketches of them first and then makes them ....... oh dear have I really lost the plot now Grin

Thank you for the recipe Fluffy

I keep forgetting to watch University Challenge. I must iPlayer it and see if I can impress the DC with my general knowledge 😂

NoWordForFluffy · 20/03/2018 06:05

I wouldn't have impressed anyone last night, Woolly!

I sometimes do quite well, but it was heavily science and European history-based last night. Neither of which are my things!

I'm on the train to work. Tired, even after an early night. We have yet another cold bug in the house as DS has had a persistent cold all winter. Roll on spring and fewer bugs please!

Mrsmadevans · 20/03/2018 07:16

Morning everyone.
No snow or ice so we are off for a walk up the market and round the town, visit to the bank , my life is so exciting lol
DD2 slept very well, the drugs worked lol, she is off to work and then having an xray on the tooth from hell this afternoon.
Thank God the last episode of Shetland is on tonight it has driven me mad , l am still no further finding out who killed who Hmm

We still have snow on the grass and roofs.

Ds is poorly today so I'm going to go into work to do my appointment then come home so dh can go to work.

NoWordForFluffy · 20/03/2018 08:05

Fingers crossed re your DD's tooth, Mrs. I've been lucky with my teeth, so can't relate, but I bet it's agony. Poor thing.

Mrsmadevans · 20/03/2018 09:00

Wreck I hope DS is much better soon my dear
Fluffy, thank you. DD is going for the xray about 12ish so we will know later if the dentist can take it out for her. I am away up the market after watching Ironside lol.

Morning! I'm having cheese on a bagel and a banana this morning. 😋🍌

FridgeCut · 20/03/2018 16:14

Separate or together? Banana and cheese on top?

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 20/03/2018 19:09

Separate! Together would be so wrong!

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 20/03/2018 19:11

I'm Easter bonnet shopping tomorrow. The DC have got their parade next Wednesday. 😆

SallyDog · 20/03/2018 20:15

I'm gathering bits together for an Easter egg hunt...I'm going to try and do much trickier clues this year as the DC and their cousin were done after about 30 seconds last year! Waitrose had bonnets for £1 last year perfect.

Osopolar · 20/03/2018 20:42

Oh lawks I forgot bonnets! I bet nursery decide to do them and give us two days notice. Will look for one this weekend to prepare myself Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 20/03/2018 21:30

No bonnets needed here. Hurrah!

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 20/03/2018 21:38

Thanks Sally. They have them for the same price in Sainsbury's, and I'll be in there anyway. 2 blue bonnets, £2, Easter crafts jar, £5, then whatever extras they choose when they come shopping with me on Thursday after school. Easter Grin

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 20/03/2018 21:47

No pressure but 280 days is 40 weeks which is a standard pregnancy **.

If anyone plans the Christmas Thread Baby, get your skates on Xmas Grin

** that includes two weeks before , counted from LMP.
I was horrifed that what I thought was 9 months/36 weeks was actually counted up to 40. And DS (little bugger) was a 41 week .

So, don't all rush at once ....... (not me , I;m years too late for that malarky)

FridgeCut · 20/03/2018 22:04

well I would, but my consultant who is repairing my hip would seek me out and kill me, so you lot would have to raise my thread baby.

TheWoollybacksWife · 20/03/2018 23:14

I would but DH would have a hairy fit and I've got a cocktail party planned for my 50th birthday next month. As DS was conceived on my 38th birthday I really don't want to do that again to poor DH. 😂

He's also 700 miles away so that probably makes things a bit difficult logistically.

Osopolar · 21/03/2018 06:11

Sorry no can do. Any sperm would have to get past the snip and a coil so good luck to them Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 21/03/2018 06:16

Hmmmm...despite my cycle fitting in almost perfectly with the dating requirement (and I'd have a 39 week c section), I'm not really up for that! I'd be 42 when it was born and I always said no more after 40!

And, 70, the only month with 4 weeks in it is Feb, so all those extra few days per month add up to the 40 weeks!

WreckTangled · 21/03/2018 07:15

I would but dh would probably have a breakdown. I've said all I want is a puppy or a baby but he won't let me have either. Selfish bugger.
