Big one is in the first flush of excitement having rumbled the whole thing conclusively. She now thinks she can be a participant on team parent and wants to 'help'. Small child has fizzed himself into exhaustion :)

soontobemrsmckeown · 24/12/2017 23:03

Yep! My 5 year old is still awake. She's crying saying that she doesn't think her behaviour has been good enough for Santa to come. Nothing is settling her down at the moment :( she's been in bed since 7pm!

sweetsomethings · 24/12/2017 23:13

I keep telling myself that they must fall asleep any second they have been up since 5 am

soon sounds like you need to make a phone call to "santa" so he can reassure her that he's on his way with a full sleigh

Bluelonerose · 24/12/2017 23:16

1 of my ds is awake I THINK it's the 14 year old so I'm safe. Ds2 asked to go to bed at 7pm and I swear it's the ONLY night a year he doesn't come downstairs a million times for some water

MirandaWest · 24/12/2017 23:16

I suspect the 14 year old is still awake but this isn't a problem. Hope the 12 year old is asleep.

christinarossetti · 24/12/2017 23:16

My 10 year old is still awake. She heard us getting presents out of the loft and has seen one of hers.

Bizarrely calm and understated about the whole thing though.

MedusaBadHairDay · 24/12/2017 23:17

Middle child still going strong......I’m ready to drop

Workerbe · 24/12/2017 23:29

3 yr old asleep- all deliveries complete for him..

7 yr old still bloody awake.. Each time I tip toe past his door he sits up and says hello... Not amused.

Might have to set an alarm....

TaggieRR · 24/12/2017 23:30

8 year old still awake.

PandaPieForTea · 24/12/2017 23:31

I’m knackered and our 7 year old won’t go to sleep. It’s like torture.

dotdotdotmustdash · 24/12/2017 23:33

Mine are both still awake. I want them to go to bed so I can put the presents out in the lounge.

They are 18 and 20 though...

KakunaRattata · 24/12/2017 23:34

Thought the coast was clear so all presents down, just sat on the loo before bed and ds2 comes thundering out of his room so had to dive off the loo and intercept, good job I hadn't done stockings yet. Ds1 just gone to the loo and turned noisy fan on. I neeeeeeed to sleep!

starzig · 24/12/2017 23:34

Taffeta · 24/12/2017 23:35

and I’m bloody waiting til he is

S’there!

LeonoraFlorence · 24/12/2017 23:35

All sound asleep. Santa has been and I'm Feeding baby DD in living room with just the Christmas tree lights on. It's a little bit magical Xmas Smile. Hope all of your little ones settle soon.

Tuttytoffee · 24/12/2017 23:39

My 22 month old is wide awake after having perked up off his meds. Been so sock the last few days I'm actually a bit happy he's running around. 4 month old is awake and refusing to sleep which is rare for her. 2 older DD have been in bed for 1 hour but i suspect they are still awake chatting away. It's gonna be a late one for us

Tuttytoffee · 24/12/2017 23:40

obviously meant sick not sock

Growingboys · 24/12/2017 23:43

Yes. Exhausting!

Vicks30 · 24/12/2017 23:44

Mine both went to sleep by 9.30. My 13 year old sister went at 10.30...thought we would have to wait ages but thankful for her sleepover last night where she only got a few hours sleep. Now I’m having trouble getting to sleep with a blocked nose and a million things going round my head 😒

missyB1 · 24/12/2017 23:44

Yes 9 year old wide awake and tearful, sigh..... DH is desperate to go to bed as he has work in the morning.

Thethingswedoforlove · 24/12/2017 23:50

sweetsomethings · 25/12/2017 01:57
