what are you up to today?

I am currently sat in soft play letting DS (4) run off steam!
Called in our local, fairly small Tesco on the way for some batteries and blinis - it was insane .
Will let DS play and have his lunch here before we go home to chill and prep for tomorrow!
DH is out delivering a present then home to do some prep too.

Once DS is in bed we will watch something with a nice drink.

So nothing too exciting but a nice relaxed day for us!

We were at a family gathering at my mum and dads yesterday and are hosting people tomorrow and boxing day afternoon so been busy.

We are at soft play too as the dcs were bouncing off the walls at home so brought them here to hopefully burn off some energy. I was expecting it to be manic but actually there's hardly anyone here so it's actually quite pleasant. Will have lunch here and another hour or so running around then go home to get sorted for tomorrow.

The joy of uni aged dcs. Going for late lunch at a restaurant then back for champagne and cheese.
I don't cook Xmas Eve or Boxing Day.

I’m currently eating malteaers and cuddling baby number 3, he was born Tuesday

My other 2 dc are cuddled up to my brothers watching Thomas the tank Christmas

DH has gone to the airport to pick my parents and when he gets back he has some prep to do for tomorrow

Once dc are in bed we will all have a drink together and do the Santa thing

We're just back from stopping round the woods to burn off some energy. Will have some lunch then head to Cristingle, then home to chill for a bit.

Got up early and read. Then DP and I went to play squash and I've been swimming while he goes and sees his parents.

Got up and did some housework. Then DH, our 3 kids and I met up with my best mate and Went for a walk around the common before walking into town for a cuppa and DH and the kids also ate lunch. Then home where I've done more housework whilst DH and kids watched a movie. Now I'm trying to persuade DH that he should really cool the kids dinner since I've been on the go all day.

I hate to say it, but my eldest DD (8) is driving me mad, she just won't shut up!! if she's not talking she's making noises. It's surprisingly irritating.

Still need to get the kids showered & into bed & then wrap ALL their gifts.

Chilling on the sofa, wondering about having a nap.

Food shop done/pressies wrapped. We are out tomorrow for dinner. Later will have a couple of drinks while watching TV

Been up to see my dad with some friends, and then back here for mince pies.Just finished the nut roast for tomorrow. DH is upstairs wrapping presents for his family, DS is driving trucks across Europe on his computer while chatting with his friend online and I'm going to look for something festive to watch with a teeny tiny Bailey's.

Aww Pink - huge congratulations! Lovely to have a new baby in time for Christmas !

Glad every one has had a good day. I have finished cleaning now and sorted extending the table and putting the cloth on for tomorrow.

I am now drinking prosecco!
