Recommendations on dessert for Xmas dinner

I'm only feeding 3 adults and 2 children but want to get a nice dessert for Christmas dinner, preferably with chocolate as the kids don't like fruit cake/trifle.

I'm wanting to buy it this year because I can't be arsed to make it.

Does anyone have anything they have seen in the supermarkets that looks good? I saw a chocolate log in Waitrose but it was the size of Birmingham! I don't really wanna it hanging around in the fridge because we are only home Christmas Day and eating elsewhere Boxing Day/few days after.

Thank you Xmas Smile

We're having the snowy mountains from M&S if you have one near you. 4 chocolate peaks with mousse inside I think.

Oh and 12 mini Santa hats from M&S too as some of the kids will share a mountain peak so can have the Santa hat as well. Think they are raspberry meringue.

Lidl are really good for this sort of thing too

We are just going for sorbet and the macaroons or something I think but loads in there.

I haven't tried these so can't comment on quality... but I'm intending to make a semi-freddo this year (we're not trifle/christmas pudding or cake fans) - but saw that Waitrose have a frozen one to buy www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/waitrose-christmas-white-forest-semifreddo/403480-538524-538525

There was a chocolate trifle type thing in Tesco which looked good, but the dates weren't long enough on them when I went shopping the other day 👎

DH has bought some individual chocolate steamed puds with gooey centres for our non Xmas pud eaters and the baby, although the littlest member would probably like it but it's too boozy
