mostly because parents can't/won't support them, also because of becoming unemployed, tenancy ending, relationship break down,
some remain homeless for many years, sofa surfing and sleeping rough.

If this makes Christmas number 1 it will be such an effective way of drawing attention to this issue, and will make government action far more likely
