Storing Iced Christmas cake

What is the best way to store my iced Christmas cake?
I did have it in a tin but then remembered that the icing figures from dds birthday cake went all sweaty in there and when I took it out this morning it had a couple of slightly damp bits on it.
Any ideas? It's regal icing

In a cardboard box.

Open to the air. Whether that's in a cardboard box or simply on display (perhaps with a net dome over it, if you're bothered by the chance of something landing on it). Just make sure you neither seal it or chill it.

Another open to air vote! Anything closed makes it sweat; the icing keeps it ok and if anything makes it better as hardens more!

Fab thanks ladies! It's currently open to the air! Grin
