There's lots of threads at the moment about how to make Christmas memories for dcs but the Christmas I remember most was when my eccentric Dm decided we should have a barbecue (we lived in the frozen north of England at the time) instead of a traditional roast turkey. I remember eating steak and sausages sitting in our tiny frosty garden and toasting marshmallows afterwards. 40 years on it's still my favourite Christmas memory.
