Preparing for Xmas 2018 - cards, paper etc

Thanks to Reastie's bargain threads and everybody's contributions, I've saved an absolute fortune over the last few years

The one thing that so many of you seem to do is buy reduced items and put them away for next year, like cards, wrapping paper, crackers, decorations etc.

I thought we could have a thread where we share bargains that we can use next year - I always seem to miss them and by the time I make it back to the shops after Christmas it's all been sold and there are a few tatty bits and pieces left. If we know where the bargains are we can all be super organised for Christmas 2018!

I haven't got anything to share yet, but I'm pooping into town once I've dropped DCs at school so I'll update if I find anything

I've got a load of wrapping paper from John Lewis and M&S in the sales. It's lovely too, so pleased that I did it. I'm going to look in store this weekend in case there's any more bargains too.

Cox and Cox has gorgeous stuff, I have to say!

sent my husband toSainsbury's and Tesco - he said they've no wrapping paper left!!!

I don't want to end up buying from studio catalogue again. Though we only bought one roll of paper this year, having got loads in last year's sales

From yesterday:

Lidle - 2019 Favorina (sp?) Christmas puds. (Also lots of goodies with a few weeks sell by left, between £1, and 29p.)

All below where large branches. Not many choices - but all had nice stuff available as well as maybe less lovely depending on taste.

Sainsbury''s remaining 50p rolls of wrapping paper, and crackers down to £1.

Card factory - wrapping paper and cards 1/2 price.

£1 shop - wrapping paper, ribbon and and cards 50p.
£1 world -lights, decorations and paper. 50p.

Tesco (large) ribbon 25p.

M&S quality wrapping paper and v.nice cards 1/2 price (so £2.50 per roll, and £3.50 for cards)
