Any ideas for a present under £20 for me!

Partner has had no work for weeks and is skint but wants to get me a Christmas present. I actually don't need or want anything as I look after myself.
I told him to only spend up to £20. He's asking for ideas but I'm stumped! I have all the bath stuff you could ever want and I have enough candles and chocolates to see me through 30 years of a zombie apocalypse!
So MN, are you up for this challenge?

Lizzie Lane website if you like jewellery - I love the Hultquist brand from Copenhagen, but they do some really nice / reasonable stuff.
Books - if he knows your taste or give him a couple of ideas.
Fluffy socks - Fat face fluvia are lovely, today and warm but not so thick you can't wear boots etc with them.
Joules Pom Pom key ring - on my list this year as I'm fed up of fumbling in my bag to find keys, so hopefully can just grab the Pom Pom.
Box set of Dvd's you fancy eg: The Crown.

Food for thought hopefully!

Toasty and warm - dam autocorrect!

BikeRunSki · 18/12/2017 19:22

That Hultquist stuff is lovely!

Bottle of gin/vodka
Perfume
Recipe book
Oil burner and wax melts
Face mask
£20 voucher for a beauty salon so you can put it towards a massage or manicure
Pyjamas
Cinema gift card
Boxset on dvd
Set of underwear

If it was me I would like:
a cook book by a chef I like
Warm socks
A nice photo frame with a family photo in
Some new house plants or a nice pot to put one in
A big warm scarf
Pyjamas
Amazon/boots voucher
A new dressing gown

A nice quality candle? Something nice for your house? Something to wear?
Adopt an animal? Board game? Smile

Littlelambpeep · 18/12/2017 19:38

I would like a nightie from m&s

I am a real party animal ...

PartridgeInAPetri · 18/12/2017 19:39

Wheelywheel
I have over 5898534678 house plants (or so it seems) so a nice container is absolutely a brilliant idea.

I have asked for some nice tea towels but apparently thats boring!

Oh, I do need a new dressing gown!

I shall copy out this list and give it to him. Some brilliant ideas here. I'm quite crap at thinking of lovely stuff for myself.

Primark pjs £6, fluffy socks £2, adult colouring book £1 the range and pencils £1 the range. Then a big bar of choccy £3 for a massive galaxy. Radox bubble bath £1. Then still enough for a cheap bottle of wine.

thegrinchreaper · 18/12/2017 20:10

My sister asked for a faux fur snood from Primark, it was £4! and comes in a few different colours. Really cosy and festive and decent quality.
If you really can't think of anything, ask him to treat you in the Boxing Day sale when everything is half price.

PartridgeInAPetri · 18/12/2017 20:23

Snood sounds great especially as I'm in Scotland where it's COLD!

I am actually in love with that silver fir cone necklace!

That might end up being a present to me in the new year...

Nearlyadoctor · 18/12/2017 20:32

Partridge funnily enough the first thing I ever bought from Hultquist (via Hush) was the silver and gold fir cone necklace. I love wearing it.

BertieBotts · 18/12/2017 20:34

Small decorative but functional item for the kitchen/bathroom/bedroom

Something for a hobby - I've asked for a capo for my guitar or a tripod for my camera.

Colouring in diary (I have delusions this might cause me to use said diary)

A book you want? A CD?

secondhoneymoon · 18/12/2017 22:17

I would like something I wouldn't buy for myself, like a voucher towards a beauty treatment. Or a more expensive than usual shampoo and conditioner.

PartridgeInAPetri · 19/12/2017 08:54

I think there's going to be a run on the fir cone necklace! Grin
Some great ideas here. Thank you.
