Similar Christmas in our family- a few veggies (myself included) and I’m pregnant so won’t be drinking. Don’t really see a problem there.

On the shop front, perhaps try some less popular times? I’m planning to do my last 2 trips on Thursday and Friday- get there as soon as they open and have a list ready to make it quick.

I went to the supermarket as soon as it opened at 8am on Christmas Eve last year, it wasn't all that busy and I got everything I needed. I suspect the rise in online ordering is to thank for this.

Or see if there are any supermarkets open late in your area? I used to live near one that was open till 10pm and late on it wasn’t busy at all. But sometimes they can be a bit out of stock so it’s worth getting the essentials a bit sooner if possible.
