DD wants this for Christmas:

www.thetoyshop.com/dolls-soft-toys/soft-toys/Ty-Beanie-Boo-Buddy---Stripes-the-Tiger/p/416495_36911

It's out of stock everywhere except for Amazon for £25. They normally cost about £5. DD is 10 so it's not like she doesn't understand you don't always get what you want.

I'm crazy to even consider it, right?

If you can afford it and she'd love it why not?

Msqueen33 · 17/12/2017 22:09

Argh! I know it’s Christmas and I’d probably want to but that’s a bit mad!

dorislessingscat · 17/12/2017 22:10

This is not what I need to hear Grin

If she would like a bizarre blue lamb one she can have it for nothing please get it away from me it's scary

dorislessingscat · 17/12/2017 22:12

Thank you Queen. I don't think I could get her second hand for Christmas. I am an avid eBay shopper normally.

If you've £25 to splash maybe. Personally I wouldn't. My DDs have learnt you don't always get what you want. They are 9 and 4.

dorislessingscat · 17/12/2017 22:13

Annandale - we are already overrun with weird creatures but thank you!

This is your answer. She's already got loads of the furry beasts. Put you £25 to something else.

Why that exact one? Because that's how DD's brain works. She's extremely single minded!

I think I am talked down. She's got 100s of furry things and at 10 will grow out of beanie boos in a few short years.

It's okay, I took the question at face value. I'm pretty sure she knows FC isn't real but the pretence is still there.

Give her £5 to spend on one in the new year?

Unicorn81 · 17/12/2017 22:59

Apparently discontinued. There is a white and pink tiger on clintons site www.clintonsretail.com/search/?q=beanie%20boo

Nicpem1982 · 18/12/2017 07:42

I know you've probably done this but my dd wanted a panda beanie boo for her birthday and we looked every where and it was out of stock, our local white smiths had a rack of beanie boos and there was a random panda lurking there!, if you've got a decent wh smiths local worth look

halloweenzombie · 18/12/2017 08:59

I was just about to say WH Smith's or also in store in mothercare is where I found the one my dd wanted and it was half price

dorislessingscat · 18/12/2017 09:49

All local beanie boo vendors have been scoured repeatedly by DD.

I suspect her main motivation is to copy a friend so I think she won't be emotionally damaged from not getting one just me then when she does a DM sad face HmmGrin
