My late MIL was famous for her Christmas presents. The GC all used to dread the annual hand knitted jumper. Beautifully knitted except the necks were so tight they would rip your ears off if you werent careful.

My most memorable gift from her was an orange and green psychedelic patterned nylon shortie overall. I would make yur eyes spin just to look at it.

SIL bought me a pair of size 18 (I'm an obvious 6 to 8) plain black cotton knickers from Primark. She gift wrapped them with the £1 price tag attached.

A 4 pack of Shield soap from my brother which he had taken from the bathroom cabinet as he had forgotten to get me anything!
