£50 to get present for 7/8 year old boy with ASD - ideas needed!

As the title says really. I have a £50 budget to buy a present for a quirky, nearly 8 year old boy (awaiting confirmation of ASD, if that's relevant).

Interests: pokemon, minecraft, his DS, computers, lots of technology really. Drawing, but he's already getting a sketch book and artist's pencils etc off other family.

Any ideas welcome, I'm stumped!

Bagatelle. Low tech. Can be played with alone (beat your own score) or in a group (suitable for ages 2 - 102). Saved me one Christmas when trying to amuse grumpy H, bored teenagers and livewire 7 year old.

What about some Minecraft Lego? I always suggest Lego though!

If he likes drawing is there an illustrators course near by he could go on? Or equipment (light box/drawing board/another medium like watercolours)?

What computing is he into - pc? Would he like a new gamers mouse/joy stick?

Something for his room - art maybe or a Minecraft light. (I know some kids wouldn't view that as a present though)

Thanks for all the suggestions - the graphics tablet is a real possibility, I'm investigating further!

Minecraft Lego is a hit here. Also a nightlight in a block shape off amazon.
The minecraft toy weapons are expensive but also popular if he likes imaginative play.
Pokemon themed game maybe? Or a Pokemon case for his DS?
£50 is quite a lot really so you could get a wee mixture of things.

What about a Garmin Vivofit..which is a child’s version of a Fitbit?

I've bought this for my son. It says out of stock now but it's also on eBay. Might be a nice idea if he likes to draw?

Sorry just realised someone above has mentioned something that looks similar.

Digital camera?

Hot Wires - have bought this for my 7yr old and know he will love it.

He likes minecraft, Harry Potter Pokemon, etc.
