I have a dd, pfb, 6 months old and so far have just bought her some interactive little toy things and some charity shop baby books and plasticy toy things.
First baby in my family and I'm really struggling at what else to get her!

Please give me some of your ideas that you bought for babies or would buy! Thank you

That's plenty. She won't really know or understand what Christmas is. You're better off saving your money for next year when she'll understand more!

Agree with formerbabe re it not really mattering. If you really want to buy something else, suggest toys/activities for 6-12 month olds - they develop such a lot over the next few months i.e. Before her birthday. I'm out of touch re what's around now for that age but a quick search of the ELC website might help with ideas

You are going to be inundated with gifts from other people and she won't know what you've bought her (or care). Spend what you save on yourselves or something you really need. You're going to spend the next few years indulging her at Christmas, so don't feel guilty.

That is true thank you, she will definitely get so much from everyone this year and won't know a thing about it!

Sounds like plenty. In case you do want ideas, I've bought my DD (will be 7 months) lots of books, rattles, cuddly toys. She's also getting a drum, floor piano and activity table from other people.
