Help! Are fur real or little live pets any good?

Ds is obsessed with cats and wants one for Christmas. He hasn't specified which except that he wants a cat!!! Are the fur real or little live pets ones any good?

My DS is obsessed with cats too. I bought him a little live pets kitten. It's actually really cute and the movement is quite smooth. I prefer it to the fur real bootsie cat which is the other one I was considering.

Asda have one called Muffin for £38, do you think its the same and quite a good deal?
