A year of good luck from Santa

DS has written his letter to Father Christmas and asked for “a year of good luck”. Not quite sure how to respond to this or if there is anything that could go in his stocking around this theme.

(Also feeling a bit torn as I want him to believe in himself and try and create his own luck/opportunities but I also recognize that there are limits to what he personal can do/control.)

Anyone able to help? How would you respond? He’s 8.

Without a TARDIS, there is not much DS can do as Santa died in 343 AD tehehe Wink.

Tell him that we make our own luck by working hard, being confident as well as being kind to others.

Maybe buy him a 4 leaf clover key ring? Or search lucky charms on Ebay/Amazon?

I would go with a good luck charm - if he watches/reads harry potter you can buy a necklace with a fake bottle of felix 'liquid luck' I wanted to buy for dd but we haven't got onto that book/film yet!

You could buy a wish jar?
