Christmas gifts for inlaws?

Not my inlaws, DDs. We will be spending Christmas day all together. Seems wrong to turn up with gifts for DD and her partner and not his parents/grandmother. Any ideas on what to take?

I know very little about them, having only met them briefly a couple of times.

We have exchanged, back and forth between us, resturant vouchers, cheese basket, chocolates, coffee mugs abd calender.

Take a board game or card game to play

I always just take a big box of biscuits with a bow on. Not very imaginative but you know they won't get wasted even if they put them in a raffle.

A nice cheeseboard or a set of beautiful candles - they have a good selection in Anthropologie. I have given woollen throws in neutral colours to couples I didn’t know that well, before as well.
I like the idea of a board game or even a puzzle?
