Are any of the chocolate coin makers worth the money?

4yo DD wants a chocolate coin makers but I suspect they're rubbish. Please tell me otherwise!

We had the golden coinmaker I think. It was dreadful.

Everyone always slags these off but my 6y really enjoys using hers. (FC always gets her one present that I loudly refuse to get... was the choc coin maker last year.) Yes, you could melt the choc in a microwave a lot faster, but where’s the fun in that? Even my DH, who despairs at the crap I buy sometimes, says it’s a good toy because “it teaches her to follow a process” or somesuch bumph. The last batch she made was particularly good - but we need more foil.

We have one. It’s an overly complicated contraption that makes deformed chocolate coins and takes a ridiculously long time.
However my kids like it and have used it about 4 times over a couple of years. We make silver coins as we ran out of gold foil.
