Can anyone recommend some good ones please? Dd is 14, she doesn't use much on her skin and I'd like to buy her something to try. Her skin is quite sensitive and bit spotty so something gentle. What brands should I be looking for?

Simple would be a good place to start. A little set with face wash, eye cream and a light daily moisturiser perhaps. You could make up your own and pack it in a nice washbag or basket.

soap and glory is a good brand. Or Lush or Body Shop.

Nip and fab are highly rated and do a teen range on their website here

There's a brand called Zesteen, which is specifically for teenage skin and is not full of chemicals.

What's your budget? If you can afford it, origins is a lovely brand.

Mario Badescu is one of my DD go-to brands (she likes the Rose rather than the Aloe Vera) DD has quite sensitive but dry.

(Urban Outfitters or online)

Also check if Cruelty Free is important to her before you buy .

Liz Earle is very good on every type of skin both young and older.

Dancergirl · 08/12/2017 17:18

Thank you. I use Liz Earle myself but it's a bit pricey for a teen. The Zesteen stuff looks good.
