Ham Hock or Ham Fillet for Christmas

Any preference...I love Ham Hock...to me it's juicier and tastier than ham..but I've never actually cooked it. Does anyone do it for Christmas? Thanks 🎄

I love ham hock but I don't see it as interchangable with a carving ham and not something I would do as the centre of a roast or xmas dinner.

We use it to make terrines, to strip down and use as you would pulled pork, to mix into a lentil casserole or cook in a soup or stew.
