There is a Lindt shop near me that sells all their chocolates loose like pic n mix style, so I like to buy from there, better than having a box with all the same kind.

Also Carluccious sell neopolitans, the tiny wee ones.

Lovemusic33 · 07/12/2017 15:48

Lindt here too.

Gammeldragz · 07/12/2017 16:57

Ferrero rocher mixed or champagne truffles.
Don't like any of the 'tubs' they're all crap. Won a tub of heroes the other day so that can be for the family and I will get myself some ferrero rocher! Been low carb/sugar free all year and only planning a few days off, so only a small box of chocs for me this year.

ZaZathecat · 07/12/2017 16:59

Dark chocolate gingers - it's the only time I get them.

Eolian · 07/12/2017 17:15

Milk chocolate Lindor Balls. 'Quality' Street, Cadbury's etc are such crappy chocolate - hardly a festive treat!

Eve · 07/12/2017 17:16

I was introduced recently to the pound shop version of after 8s.

they are good!

LesLavandes · 07/12/2017 17:20

Quality Street and Bendicks Bittermints

Mulch · 07/12/2017 17:21

Terrys chocolate orange but I eat It all year round :)

TonicAndTonic · 07/12/2017 17:23

Gonna have to be lindt balls for me too. Ferrari Rocher as second choice.

We had a tub of Roses at work recently, first time I'd had them in ages, they had a really nasty aftertaste though. Not sure what they've done to the recipe? Sad

Greenteandchives · 07/12/2017 17:31

Zaza who does the best dark chocolate gingers, please?

Sarahh2014 · 07/12/2017 17:42

Toffeefee

salsamad · 07/12/2017 17:48

Thorntons luxury dinner mints, they have a double cream peppermint fondant centre and are completely covered in dark chocolate with tiny shards of mint mixed into the chocolate. (Reminds me of the old Cadburys Ice Breaker chocolate bars).
Also love Thorntons strawberry creams, Seville orange continental chocolate (no longer in the boxes) and their toffee covered chocolate.

salsamad · 07/12/2017 17:49
  • that should be chocolate covered toffee
CoffeeAndEnnui · 07/12/2017 18:12

@popcornpaws, are they different flavoured ones or more like the chocs you get with a cup of coffee? I've been disappointed by those imposters beforeWink

ZaZathecat · 07/12/2017 19:18

Greentea it used to be Terrys but I'm not sure they even do them any more. I think I always like them whatever the make!

oldlaundbooth · 07/12/2017 19:20

After 8's of course.

Fridge cold.

Snap.

goose1964 · 07/12/2017 21:47

We got some lovely ones from Lidl or Aldi last year they were really good and great value, we don't do tubs as there's only 2 of us who'd eat them.

Towerofjoyless · 07/12/2017 21:51

Lindor hazelnut balls, been dropping hints to DH and hoping he has got me those for Christmas

popcornpaws · 07/12/2017 23:17

Yes, the neopolitans are different flavours, you can order them online if you’re not near a store.

campocaro · 08/12/2017 07:45

Bendicks bittermints. There is a box burning a hole in the present drawer. I buy them and the cat gives them to me. Absolutely love them!

LadyPenelope68 · 08/12/2017 07:50

Definitely Lindt balls and they have to have been kept in the fridge. poooooooop the shop at Cheshire Oaks is heaven isn’t it, I have to be dragged out kicking and screaming Grin

WellTidy · 08/12/2017 09:28

Coffee neopolitans were my favourite too. I used to love the mocha ones. I miss them!

I love m and s champagne truffles, which are comparable with charbonnel et walker.

Mrsmadevans · 08/12/2017 10:00

Lindt of course , am planning on a visit to a Macarthur glen around Easter off the back of this convo lol
I am also into Cheese footies, twiglets and cheeslets but nothing better than The old Thorntons choc from 30 yrs ago omg it was divine, that was when choc really was a treat and Thorntons were the best that money could buy .

dontquotemeondailymail · 08/12/2017 10:51

Cherry liqueurs for me - yum! And even better, my husband and son hate them so I get them all to myself Smile

ZaZathecat · 09/12/2017 10:47

Ooh yeah cherry liqueurs! (As well as my dark chocolate gingers.)
M&S ones are nice and I often end up having to get 3 boxes due to the 3 for 2 offer.
