Someone told me about using a cream/white feather boa to decorate a tree and I am intrigued! The thing is my Christmas tree 'theme' is...um...well...tacky! I like to use every dec the DC have ever made (much to their embarrassment) along with lots of colourful tat

If I abandoned the tinsel for feathers would I need to stick to white and gold decs or would colourful work?
Does anybody here have experience of feathers over tinsel?
