Idea for small gift for neighbour?

Been living here since March and have lovely elderly couple next door. They've given me loads of wood for my stove and are genuinely nice people.

I would like to give them a small gift which would normally be biscuits or chocolates but I'm sure they mention one (or both of them) have diabetes.

Any ideas? Thank you 😊

Christmas decoration?

Pot plant sounds good. how about a basket of fruits nicely wrapped with some transparent paper? Or even a toiletries gift set?

Depending on your budget, but for up to 20 pounds max, you could choose several lovely items.
I had lovely next door neighbours, an elderly couple who were wonderful to us and very helpful in lots of ways (unfortunately they moved to sheltered housing later on).
Over the years we got for them

a lovely vase,
mug set of 4 that comes with its own stainless steel rack,
picture frame,
a smallish unusual photo frame as Christmas tree decoration,
mini jewellery box (a small section for the rings and another section for necklaces etc which can keep both of their wares when they go on holiday) which was mainly for the lady,
toiletries,
book for the gentleman,
a touch lamp for the hall (very reasonably priced around 15 pounds), display clock in a glass dome...all if which were well liked I've been told.
Mainly stuff for their home.
They loved ornaments and decorative items.

Dvd? Music cd?
Sewing box if they are into such things, or knitting stuff?
A fancy album for family photos?
A lovely calendar?
