Nice, possibly "British" gift, which can be easily packed?

My DF and his wife are visiting soon from Europe. I would like to get them something for Christmas that they can easily take home with them in their luggage. Budget up to £30. Ideally something for them as couple rather than individual gifts. I know they like 'British' interiors, seaside theme etc. Any ideas?

Marmite. Obviously

Smile DF hates marmite. His wife might find it amusing though.

What about a subscription to a homes/lifestyle magazine such as Coast or Country Living - they mail overseas, and have articles on interiors, British regions etc.

Something Cath Kidston-ish? If they like that style of thing. I imagine it can be seen as very quintessential English-y, and you could get cushion covers or a tablecloth/placemats - all easy to transport.

Or a lovely print by someone like Jo Grundy - I love her winter scenes and am dropping hints to DH, but she has some coastal subjects too.

Try john lewis, they have loads of that kind of thing.

Emma Bridgewater mugs, or Cornishware

Something Paddington related?

Nice tea and shortbread
Emma Bridgewater or Richard Bramble

Thanks for all the suggestions. Especially Richard Bramble which I'd never heard of before but has some suitable things. It's either that or posh tea and biscuits I think.
